Terry Waldron started work on the restoration of this period property, Euridge Manor, over 8 years ago which has involved refurbishment of living areas, conversion of buildings from agricultrual use, extensions and new build. The pictures in the slideshow are shown in chronological order and demonstrate a number of individual projects including hard landscaping of the garden. Hinton Manor is a Grade II listed manor house which dates from the 17th Century. In recent years it has suffered from problems typical of period buildings: crumbling wooden and stone structure and general 'movement'.

Barns are notoriously difficult to convert to modern homes, ensuring the best use is made of space and that they are light and airy. We at Terry Waldron spend a lot of time discussing ideas with the architect and local planning officers to ensure that these things are achieved. If you have a barn conversion project in Wiltshire, Somerset or Gloucestershire we can offer our experience and expertise to maximise the potential of the space.
Through our expertise in period property restoration we specialise in the restoration of stone and we have had a number of commissions to repair the structure of churches in the local area. Our experience in stone tiled roofs has been invaluable as these are a typical feature of churches in Chippenham, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. We have also repaired the leaded windows of Corsham Church.
These days, as the family expands and more space is needed to accomodate them, many home owners decide to extend their current home outward and upwards, rather than cope with the stress of moving. Wiltshire is known for its lovely farm houses, but some of them have a number of small reception rooms that do not offer the best 'flow' for modern living. Here are some examples of recent projects that have tackled the need for more space and improved flow.
Many of our projects have evolved to include an element of hard landscaping and some examples are shown here.
Stone tiling is common to many period buildings in the local area. We specialise in the replacement and repair of stone tiled roofs and these pictures are of some projects that we have undertaken as part of our period property restoration projects throughout Wiltshire.
